How to Spot a Fake Dating Profile or Romance Scam
Romance scams follow a script. Once you know the script, they are much easier to spot. The single most important rule: never send money, gift cards, crypto or bank details to someone you have only met online, whatever the reason.

- They always have a reason they can't video call: broken camera, bad network, strict job.
- Their story has small details that don't add up over time.
- Sooner or later, there is an emergency that needs money: a hospital bill, a customs fee, a stuck payment, an "investment opportunity".
